Dara Khosrowshahi is president and CEO of Expedia, Inc., which operates more than 150 travel booking sites in more than 70 countries worldwide across its portfolio of online travel brands including Expedia, Hotels.com, Orbitz Worldwide, Hotwire, Travelocity, HomeAway, Inc., Egencia, Venere, trivago, and Wotif Group. Under his leadership, Expedia, Inc. has grown to become one of the largest online travel companies in the world. Furthermore, he has served as a member of the Fanatics.com board of directors since November 2013 and in May 2015 he was elected to the board of directors of the New York Times Company.
Previously, Khosrowshahi served as president of the Brand Expedia business. Khosrowshahi also served as CEO of IAC Travel, a division of InterActiveCorp. He served as Executive Vice President and CFO of IAC, overseeing all of the company’s financial matters, and also held the role of Executive Vice President of Operations and Strategic Planning at the company. Prior, Khosrowshahi served as President of USA Networks Interactive, having joined the company in 1998 as Vice President of Strategic Planning.
