Robin is a third generation Co-owner and past President/CEO, starting in the family business in 1979. Robin currently serves on several boards and is the chairwoman of Tourism Cares Global Impact. She is a US Commissioner of UNESCO at the State Department in Washington DC and has helped forge public/private partnerships with the global Tour & Travel Industry for the protection and economic development of over 1000 treasured World Heritage Sites. Robin is working with the National Park Foundation for the 100th Centennial year of the U.S. National Parks in 2016. For over a decade, Robin serves on the board of two family foundations, the Tauck Family Foundation and Tauck Ritzau Innovative Philanthropy (TRIP Foundation).
Robin is a graduate of University of Cambridge Sustainability Leadership Program, Stanford University Executive Business, and University of Vermont where she was honored with a “Legacy of Leadership” Award. In 2015, Robin received the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame for Global Impact. Robin is a member of the WTTC since 2008 serving on committees and has been a supporter and finalist judge for the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards and Destination Stewardship missions of the WTTC; and its new efforts with USA Tourism Cares.
